Trips to Expore
The below trips are an example of the journeys options we will have available when we launch. If you have ideas about places you would like to visit by water in Southern Tasmania please take our survey.
2 Hour trip exploring the Hobart waterfront and surrounds
Take in the history of the Hobart foreshore down to Sandy Bay or jump across to Bellerive Marina and the Eastern Shore bays and beaches. North under the arches of the Tasman Bridge up to charming Cornelian Bay.
4 Hour trip exploring up or down the River Derwent and surrounding bays
Lower River Derwent – On the western shore from Hobart down to the Tinderbox Marine Reserve for a spot of snorkelling. The Eastern Shore offers many beaches and bays including Ralph Bay and the secluded Halfmoon Bay only accessible by boat.
The upper River Derwent offers many gems and the world-renowned MONA (Museum of Old and New Art).
8 Hour trip, the possibilities are endless
Take your time and explore all the wonders this beautiful waterway has to offer. Head South all the way to Bruny Island and down the D'Entrecasteaux Channel - the sailing paradise of Tasmania. Up the river you will find the historic town of New Norfolk, with many wonders along the way - birdwatchers make sure to bring your binoculars. Otherwise find a hidden spot, put down anchor and just enjoy the water and surroundings.

Enjoy a drink while savouring the majestic Hobart sunset over Kunanyi / Mt Wellington. Bellerive & Howrah Beach are favourites among the locals.
